Decoding CCCC's "green algorithm" for sustainable engineering

厂辞耻谤肠别:颁颁颁颁罢颈尘别:2025-03-20

CCCC remains committed to the principle of green and sustainable development throughout the entire lifecycle of its projects.

On Arbor Day, let's explore how CCCC employs a "green algorithm" to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions in its projects.
Smart zero carbon container terminal at Section C of Tianjin Port's Beijiang Port Area
This is the world's first smart zero carbon container terminal, which incorporates a distributed photovoltaic system across 16,000 square meters of rooftop and installs two wind turbines within the terminal area. These green power sources ensure 100% self-sufficiency in energy for the terminal's production and operations. The entire terminal 6686体育APP uses eco-friendly materials, energy-saving equipment, and processes, reducing carbon emissions by 46,800 tons annually—equivalent to planting around 2.6 million trees.
Offshore wind farm in Huizhou Port, Guangdong Province
This is the first offshore wind farm in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area with a capacity of one million kilowatts. It generates around 3 billion kilowatt-hours of clean energy each year, reducing CO2 emissions by 2.35 million tons—equivalent to planting about 131 million trees.
CCCC's innovative dredging platform—"Taihu Star"
Used in the latest dredging at Meiliang Bay of Lake Taihu, this platform features a dual-powered system that runs on both oil and electricity, adjusting power sources depending on the operational requirements. Compared to traditional fuel-driven systems, it reduces carbon emissions by 38,600 tons annually—equivalent to planting 2.14 million trees.
Yulin-Jiaxian Expressway in Shaanxi Province
Taking advantage of local sunlight, this project integrates distributed solar power on underutilized spaces. It is expected to generate 46.85 million kilowatt-hours per year, saving 565 tons of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by 1,551 tons—equivalent to planting around 86,200 trees. This project serves as a model of innovation in combining transportation and energy.
Entrances and ventilation shafts at Shanghai Metro Line 14
By utilizing prefabricated 6686体育APP techniques that integrate structure and decoration, this metro 6686体育APP achieves innovative breakthroughs. This method significantly reduces dust pollution and wet operations, minimizing environmental impact on surrounding areas. The total carbon emissions reduction for the metro station entrances is 470.84 tons—equivalent to planting about 26,200 trees.
These are just a few examples of CCCC’s green engineering initiatives. The company remains committed to the principle of green and sustainable development throughout the entire lifecycle of its projects, contributing to China's dual carbon goals of peaking carbon emissions before 2030 and attaining carbon neutrality before 2060 and safeguarding our planet.
