Recently, Prime Minister of Cote d'Ivoire, Robert Beugré Mambé visited the AKWABA Turntable Rehabilitation Project in Abidjan built by CHEC, accompanied by the Minister of Equipment and Road Maintenance, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning and the Minister of Communication and Media of Cote d'Ivoire.

He highly affirmed that CHEC overcame difficulties and efficiently pushed forward the implementation of the project within the specified time, and expressed his appreciation for the project's recruitment of local employees and promotion of local employment.
The project is located at the intersection of three major roads in Abidjan: the Abidjan-to-Grand-Bassam Highway, the road to the airport, and the road to Port-Bou?t. The area currently experiences an average daily traffic flow of over 170,000 vehicles. The main project spans approximately 1.5 kilometers and includes comprehensive upgrades to the existing roundabout and surrounding roads, as well as the relocation of municipal pipelines and the improvement of supporting infrastructure. Once completed, the project will significantly enhance the traffic conditions in the Abidjan metropolitan area, particularly improving traffic capacity in the airport region, which is expected to stimulate economic and social development.
