From April 7 to 8, Sumatra in Indonesia was hit by five hours of heavy rainfall, causing widespread flooding in nearby villages, destroying roads, and trapping residents.
The CCCC project team immediately launched an emergency response operation. Over 30 workers used 40 pieces of timber to create temporary drainage channels, and three excavators worked continuously to clear flooded roads.

The storm disrupted transportation between the village and the outside world, leaving many residents with only one day's worth of food.
